Lenovo dikabarkan baru saja menambahkan model notebook convertible Yoga Series unggulan terbarunya yaitu IdeaPad Yoga 2 Pro.

Selain ada penambahan Intel Wireless Display, laptop Yoga 2 Pro unggulan terbaru ini bakal hadir dengan sejumlah pembaharuan yang mencakup penggunaan chip berbasis arsitektur Intel Haswell dengan pilihan hingga Core i7, layar sentuh kapasitif IPS 13,3 inci QHD+ (3200×1800 piksel) dan baterei yang memiliki daya tahan pengoperasian hingga 9 jam lamanya.

Tak hanya itu saja, laptop ini juga bakal dilengkapi dengan media penyimpanan SSD berkapasitas hingga 512GB, memori DDR3 8GB, USB port, micro-HDMI port, dan SD-card reader.

Dalam banyak hal, Yoga 2 Pro terlihat jauh berbeda dibanding dengan pendahulunya yaitu Ideapad Yoga 13. Terlebih dengan engsel fleksibelnya yang memungkinkan laptop convertible terbaru ini dapat digunakan dalam modus yang berbeda, seperti tablet atau laptop.

Kemampuan GT635M kurang lebih sama dengan GT555M. Cukup kuat untuk memainkan game-game baru dengan setting medium sampai high pada resolusi 1366x768. Tapi untuk game-game yang sangat berat seperti Metro 2033 atau Battlefield 3 anda harus memainkannya pada setting agak rendah.
Kalau sekedar menonton film resolusi HD dengan format Blue Ray, dia sangat lebih dari cukup. Sebenarnya dia juga sudah mendukung format 3D, dalam artian bisa memberi output dalam format 3D jika disupport oleh perangkat laptopnya. Sekilas tentang Intel Core i3-3217U

Dengan akhiran U itu, berarti processor yang dipakai LENOVO IdeaPad S210t 468 adalah versi ULV yang memang cocok dipakai di laptop. Processor ini sudah memakai arsitektur Ivy Bridge yang dirilis pada kuartal ke dua tahun lalu. Meskipun dia mampu menangani 4 thread secara paralel untuk pemanfaatan CPU dengan masing-masing core pada kecepatan 1,8 GHz, namun sayangnya dia tidak punya fitur Turbo Boost. L3-Cache-nya 3MB.

Processor Ivy Bridge lebih efisien dalam penggunaan daya dibandingkan processor seri Sandy Bridge dengan kecepatan clock yang sama. Fitur lainnya adalah dukungan atas integrated PCI Express 3.0 dan DDR3(L)-1600.

Soal kinerja, Intel Core i3-3217U sedikit lebih baik dari yang seri Sandy Bridge, dan sedikit dibawah Intel Core i5-2467M Sandy Bridge. GPU bawaannya sudah Intel HD Graphic 4000 yang kalau dicari padanannya dari AMD, kira-kira setara dengan AMD Radeon HD 6620G.

Dengan RAM bawaan 4GB, sebenarnya Lenovo IdeaPad S210t 468 sudah cukup untuk keperluan pekerjaan sehari-hari. Tapi jika anda punya uang lebih, upgrade menjadi 8GB akan lebih baik. Meskipun dia cuman punya 1 slot RAM.

Layar

Memang diagonal layarnya 11.6 inchi, tapi dengan resolusi 1366 x 768, kita tetap akan mendapatkan kenyamanan ketika menikmati video HD, browsing internet atau menulis dengan word processor pilihan anda, seperti Office 2013. Layar Lenovo IdeaPad S210t 468 ini sudah touch screen dengan 10 point multi touch. Tentu ini keunggulan yang memberi nilai tambah buat penggunanya. Dengan spesifikasi layar seperti itu, Windows 8 terinstall di dalamnya akan bisa berjalan optimal.
